Not every dining venue is available on every ship, but there will always be a choice of options available and the menus change every day. Royal Caribbean gratuities (also known as tips) cost $18 per person, per day for guests staying in Junior Suites and below and $20.50 per person, per day for guests in Grand Suites and above. Finally, there will be a daily service charge added to your onboard cruise account. These daily gratuities are currently $14.50 per person per day for standard staterooms and $17.50 for suite guests. There's also the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card, which offers 2 Ultimate Rewards points per dollar on travel (and 3 Ultimate Rewards points per dollar on dining). As is typical for cruise lines, Royal Caribbean charges on a per-person basis, not per room, and it prices most cabins based on two people occupying a room. It does offer a small number of cabins on some ships that are priced based on single occupancy for solo travelers.

If one person in a cabin purchases a Deluxe Beverage Package, all adults in the room must also purchase the package. That being said, Royal Caribbean often makes an exception to this rule if the second adult in a room does not consume alcohol. While cruises do provide a great vacation value, not everything will be covered in the cruise fare. On a Royal Caribbean cruise, there are other amenities that can be purchased if cruisers choose to do so. In addition to this casual fare, cruisers can also dine in the Main Dining Room.
